Vietnam’s Leading International General Port
As part of our commitment to becoming the region’s leading integrated cold-chain logistics hub, NECS is expanding into international seaport services at the strategic Cai Mep – Thi Vai area, Ba Ria – Vung Tau. This flagship project is a cornerstone of NECS’s comprehensive logistics ecosystem, seamlessly linking NECS cold storage in Tay Ninh – a dedicated container trucking fleet – and the international deep-water port, forming a closed-loop cold-chain logistics corridor that directly connects Vietnam with global trade routes.
Currently, NECS is concentrating on legal preparation, infrastructure investment, and operational preparation for its international port services. While commercial operations have not yet begun, the project is laying a strong foundation to become a regional maritime logistics hub for large-scale import and export activities:
- Phase 1 (from October 2026): 3 berths totaling 840 meters (m), accommodating vessels of 60,000 – 100,000 DWT.
- Phase 2 (before 2028): expansion to 5 berths exceeding 1,000 meters (m) in length, handling vessels up to 30,000 DWT.
- Projected full capacity upon completion: 5 million TEUs and 10 million tons of cargo annually.
This development will serve as a regional gateway, master-planned to integrate port operations, cold-chain logistics, and specialized transportation services from the outset.
Logistics Center – Dedicated Trucking Fleet
At NECS, we are developing a dedicated container trucking fleet (with 20-foot and 40-foot trucks) to ensure seamless connectivity between our international seaport services and logistics hubs.
- Initial phase: 100–200 trucks
- Expansion phase: 400–700 trucks, to match the operational scale of Southern Vietnam’s logistics network.
